Upcoming Water Meter Replacement Project

Dear City of Zephyrhills water customers:

We would like to share an important update regarding a citywide water meter replacement project that will begin this week and continue over the next few months.

The City is partnering with a third-party contractor, HST Utility, to complete approximately 3,500 water meter change-outs this year. This work is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain and improve our advanced metering infrastructure.

📌 What to Expect:

• HST Utility vehicles will be clearly marked with their company logo.

• Crew members will wear high-visibility vests displaying the HST Utility logo.

• Whenever possible, crews will attempt to make contact with residents before temporarily shutting off water service to explain the process and what to expect.

• Water service interruptions will be brief.

• After work is completed, residents will receive a door hanger with flushing instructions once water service is restored.
